Multipurpose hard-to-find large plastic washers are idea for many applications requiring a shim, spacer or hole sizing adapter . . .

Includes 1 set of 2 washers 2 3/8″ ID x 3 7/8″ OD x 3/32″ Thick (60 x 100 x 2.5mm) medium pliable ABS plastic:

Designed for oversized toilet tank drains where a standard 2″ flapper valve or dual flush valve will not fit and seal properly. Most standard 2″ toilet tank drains range in size from 2 3/8″ to 2 3/4″ and the aftermarket flush valve kits are designed to fit accordingly, including our own dual flush valve kits. But in some cases, due to unusual sizing standards or variances in the ceramic or plastic tank curing, the resulting drain diameter can end up being oversized. These washers solve that problem by fitting over the enlarged drain opening and allowing the standard 2″ flush valve to fit and seal properly.

They can also be used for retrofitting 2″ toilet valves to 3″ toilet drains to reduce water usage or to accommodate 2″ kit types not available for 3″ toilets. Other applications include pool, pond, sewer and any general PVC pipe fittings where large shim or spacer washers are required.

TOILET DRAIN ADAPTER INSTALLATION TIPS: For toilet valve applications, simply center and attach one washer to the bottom of the tank drain and another to the inside top of the tank drain with silicon caulk. While the caulk is still wet, install the flush valve, center it up and then tighten it down enough to sandwich and slightly compress the washers together against the tank. Allow to dry overnight and then go back to further tighten the flush valve enough to compress and seal the inside black tank gasket, but not so much as to deform and dislodge the shim washers.
